Programs.
Outreach to Expand Participation
To grow involvement in golf, we will collaborate with local organizations such as the Napa Valley Community Fund, Napa Valley Farmworker Foundation, Mentis Group, Vintners Association, and the Boys & Girls Clubs of Napa Valley and Sonoma. Additionally, we will partner with local schools to introduce golf to children of all ages and income levels. Expenses will include the Executive Director’s salary, outsourcing fees, website maintenance, marketing, and other operational costs. We are committed to effectively managing these resources to ensure the majority of our funding directly supports program goals and events.
Clinics
A cornerstone of NVJG’s mission to increase youth participation in golf is the annual clinics for beginners and advanced players. These sessions, offered throughout the year, will incur costs for coaching, range time, food, marketing materials, and event supplies. We aim to make these events engaging and enjoyable to spark a lifelong passion for the game.
Equipment Program
To help children develop their skills and foster a love for golf, NVJG will establish an equipment program. Participants will be provided with a set of golf clubs suited to their age and ability. As they progress, they can exchange their initial set for an upgraded set, ensuring their equipment supports their development.
Participation Subsidies
We will provide financial assistance to cover player fees for NVJG clinics, tournaments, and team competitions, ensuring cost is not a barrier to participation.
Tournaments
NVJG will host several tournaments annually, which will require funding for player fee subsidies, greens fees, signage, food and beverages, trophies, and other related expenses.
NVJG Team Matches
Recognizing the personal growth that comes from competitive play, NVJG will organize matches against top junior golf programs in Central and Northern California. We anticipate costs for course fees, uniforms, food, and other expenses for both home and away matches.
Drive, Chip & Putt Sponsorship
To support participants in Drive, Chip & Putt competitions, NVJG will assist event winners with expenses for sectional, regional, and national contests if necessary. (For more details, visit: Drive, Chip & Putt).

Support.
Partner Sponsorship
NVJG will actively build relationships with local businesses, foundations, and organizations to fund our mission. Our program is uniquely positioned to deliver broad personal growth opportunities to kids, offering lifelong lessons and benefits for all participants. We believe that promoting access, education, etiquette, competition, and camaraderie will resonate with those who value creating new opportunities to inspire and enhance young minds, bodies, and horizons.
Donations
We welcome contributions from individuals and organizations to support our mission of encouraging children to play golf. Our website will provide a convenient way to make direct donations, as well as contact information for those who prefer to mail their contributions. As we expand our events and media presence, we aim to connect with adults and organizations who share our passion for helping kids experience the health and personal benefits of golf.
Tournament and Clinic Fees
NVJG believes that each participant should contribute what they can toward attending events. This fosters appreciation for the knowledge gained, builds self-confidence, and raises awareness of event costs as they advance in their golf journeys. At the same time, we are committed to ensuring that financial barriers do not discourage participation. Assistance will be available for those who need support to get kids on the course and a club in their hands. While this revenue source will not be a significant funding line, it plays an important role in educating our players.
